EN ISO 11140-1 indicator
Indicator according to EN ISO 11140-1 for checking sterilization conditions (steam, temperature and time). The indicator can be added to packaged instruments (e.g. in MELAfol, MELAstore) or placed directly in the chamber.
Sterilization time:
- 121°C - 16.5 min.
- 134°C - 5.3 min.
How to use and read the results:
The chemical test should be placed inside the package to be sterilized. After sterilization, remove the indicator and check the color change. The correct sterilization process is confirmed by a change in the color of the indicator, then the sterilized material can be released. After interpreting the color, the test should be placed in a book used for archiving sterilization processes.
Storage:
Before use, store only in original packaging at temperatures below 30°C. Archiving of the test should be done away from sources of sunlight. The date of manufacture and shelf life is placed on each test and on the collection package.
