RO modules prepare tap water for demineralization process on mixed ion exchange bed. They are constructed of multiple layers of semi-permeable membranes wound on a perforated mandrel. The retention rate of the reverse osmosis process is variable, ranging from 96-99%. It depends on salinity, pressure, temperature and velocity of tap water flow.
