Wash Control tests are an indispensable element in the daily routine control of washing processes in accordance with EN ISO 15883-1:2010. An indicator substance, containing m.in. two types of proteins, lipids and polysaccharides, dark red color simulates the remains of dried blood and was placed on a plastic carrier in the form of four distinct squares.
The way the indicator substance is placed allows the control of washing in four critical planes simultaneously. The test should always be used with a special handle made of acid-resistant steel, which is designed to further impede the access of the washing agent. The low cost of monitoring cleaning processes allows frequent use of the tests; it is recommended to use them at least once a day with an empty load and periodically throughout the day with a full load.
