Bowie Dick chemical strip test
Bowie&Dick Control strip tests with sliding indicator substance are used for daily performance checks of steam sterilizers. Product designed for use with the PCD Control instrument (PCD_BD) in sterilizers with the Bowie-Dick test program.
Bowie & Dick Control chemical strip tests verify the quality of steam generated in the autoclave chamber and the ability to penetrate the material to be sterilized. Bowie&Dick tests in the set with the PCD device are a convenient and easy-to-use method of checking the efficiency of the sterilizer, allow you to assess the effectiveness of steam penetration in hard-to-reach areas of the load (and the ability to penetrate the fabrics of medical linen).
After running a Bowie-Dick cycle in the device, pull the test from the PCD Control instrument and assess whether the coloring has moved to the end of the indicator substance strip.
