Clean Control tests are an indispensable element in the process of everyday routine control of cleaning processes in accordance with EN ISO 15883-1:2010. The indicator substance of dark red color, containing among others two types of proteins, lipids and polysaccharides, simulates the residue of dried blood, which was placed on a plastic carrier, measuring 70mm x 26mm, in the form of a clear square (10mm x 10mm). The way the indicator substance is placed allows the control of washing in the critical plane.
The test should always be used with a special holder, which is designed to additionally hinder the access of the washing agent. Low cost of monitoring washing processes allows for frequent use of tests. It is recommended to use them periodically, throughout the day, with a full load. It is required that a wash check be performed each time, after servicing the wash unit.
On the test there is information in Polish about standards, reference color, product name and LOT number, date of production and usefulness. The user will also find a REF reference field on the test to facilitate the correct interpretation of the test result. The tests are packaged in a zipped container which is light-resistant and easy to store, ensuring multiple opening and closing.
How to use STERIM CLEAN Control
Place the test in a special holder. Then place the holder with the indicator inside the washer, e.g. on the tool tray, in the place considered most critical for the particular model of the washer. After a properly performed washing process, the red test substance should be completely removed. Residue of the test substance after the process indicates an ineffective wash. It is recommended to keep the test result for archiving the washing process.
