PCD Control Bowie&Dick allows you to assess the effectiveness of the steam sterilization for the entire load. The innovation of the PCD Control system is that it allows you to carry out simultaneous testing with a biological and chemical test under equally critical conditions for a given sterilization process.
PCD Control kit simulates Helix type test with 1.5 meter long tube with a diameter of 1 mm being thus the most critical simulation set. Control instrument PCD Control Bowie&Dick with a length of 20 cm was made of stainless steel coated with with a special polymer coating to maintain an even temperature throughout the set control. The polymer coating also protects against so-called heat accumulation appearing in other sets made of aluminum or stainless steel.

Chemical evaluation of effectiveness sterilization process with a type 5 or 6 test and B&D follows immediately post-trial. Biological evaluation of sterilization efficiency follows depending on the test used ie. traditional after 24 hours, and fast after 3-5 hours. You can also make routine control of the sterilization process only by chemical test type 5 or 6.
