- Module A2 sediment-carbon softening filter (EO-MA-12). The sludge-carbon softening module prepares tap water for the reverse osmosis process in HLP, Technical, Technical Plus, Spring, Basic 5 and R series demineralizers.
Module A2, integrated de-carbonizing-softening filter for HLP equipment. Replaces the combined H1+H2 filters.
The sludge-carbon softening module prepares tap water for the reverse osmosis process in demineralizers of the hLP, Technical, Technical Plus, Spring, Basic 5 and R series. Removes mechanical particles (sand, rust, silt), chlorine, chlorinated substances dissolved in water and calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.
Construction: The filter consists of a string polypropylene cartridge made of polypropylene fiber wound on a filter core, which is located in the filter housing. This design provides an ascending density of the cartridge in the direction of water flow. It stops all kinds of mechanical impurities with grain thickness up to 1 um. The filling of the filter is also granular activated carbon, on which the impurities in the water are sorbed, and a softening bed that removes calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.
Material type: 100% PP (Polypropylene)
Core: 100% PP (Polypropylene)
Filtration level: 1 µm
Type of material: granular activated carbon and cationite Na+ ionic form
Maximum operating pressure: 0.6 MPa
Maximum operating temperature: 40ºC

Lifespan: 3-6 months
Notes: The life of the module may change, depending on the flow rate, its characteristics and the level and type of water contamination.
Disposal: filters can be sent for disposal under code 19 09 99.
