- A2 module sediment-carbon softening filter (EO-MA-12). This module prepares tap water for the reverse osmosis process in HLP, Technical, Technical Plus, Spring, Basic 5 and R series demineralizers.
Module A2, integrated carbon-carbon-softening filter for HLP units. Replaces the combined H1 and H2 filters.
The sediment-carbon-softening module prepares tap water for the reverse osmosis process in demineralisers of the series HLP, Technical, Technical Plus, Spring, Basic 5 and R. Removes mechanical particles (sand, rust, silt), chlorine, chlorine-derived substances dissolved in water and calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.
Construction: The filter consists of a string polypropylene cartridge made of polypropylene fibre wound on a filter core, which is located in the filter housing. This construction ensures growing density of the cartridge in the direction of water flow. It stops all kinds of mechanical impurities with grain thickness up to 1 um. The filter is also filled with granulated activated carbon, on which contaminants in the water are sorbed and softening bed removing calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.
Material type: 100% PP (Polypropylene)
