Batch control - Helix PCD test - indicator in class 6 technology. Tests are designed for 134°C / 3.5 min sterilization.

Process test instruments (PCD) according to EN 867-5 play a very important role in the routine control of steam penetration inside tubular instruments during the sterilization process. The process test device (PCD) can simulate the tool as well as the load inside the sterilizer, so it can be used to inspect the load.

Helix PCD test allows you to assess the penetration of the sterilizing agent in the most inaccessible areas of the sterilizer chamber, especially useful when checking the sterilization of tubular instruments. Confirms achievement of all parameters necessary for proper vapor penetration. Self-adhesive indicators can be pasted into the process documentation.

The test system consists of type 6 adhesive indicators and the Helix test instrument, made of plastic with a capsule for the strip indicator. The design of the instrument allows for daily use. Remove the bar indicator from the instrument immediately after the sterilization process and take a reading. The change in color from light blue to black/graphite confirms that the sterilizer is functioning properly in terms of air removal and steam penetration and the achievement of critical parameters of the sterilization cycle (time, temperature, saturated steam properties, vacuum generation).

Storage: Store in the packaging provided. at temp. 10 - 30°C, relative humidity 30 - 70%. Keep away from light, do not expose to heat. Shelf life on packaging.

HELIX SYSTEM - BOWIE-DICK TEST FOR SMALL STERILIZERS ▪ The 3FSKS630804 indicators can also be used as a Bowie- Dick test for small pre-vacuum steam sterilizers. Also complies with EN 867-5:2003 (Non-biological systems for use in sterilizers -- Part 5: Specification of indicator systems and process test instruments for use in qualification testing for small type B and type S sterilizers).

Attention: pCD test instrument has a certain lifespan, when a set of strips is worn out, it should be replaced with a new one, supplied with a set of strips. Continued use of the instrument may damage it, resulting in a dangerously misleading test result.
