Controlling the effectiveness of sterilization processes in steam autoclaves is the responsibility of every user. There are many methods and complex multiparameter tests that effectively check how efficient the autoclave is.

One of them is periodical biological tests. The most popular is a test called Sporal A. A strip of tissue paper soaked in spores of Geobacillus stearothermophilus strain ATCC 7953, packaged in a standard paper and foil sleeve. Sporal A is sterilized in an autoclave and then incubated for 72 hours usually in a SANEPID laboratory, after which time it is verified that the bacterial spores have been successfully annihilated. A long and unreliable process requiring proactive action on the part of the autoclave user.

However, there is a much more efficient, faster and easier way to perform a bioassay.

The Ensure product line is an easy-to-use, in-office system that monitors the biocidal effectiveness of your steam sterilizer. It is great for the dental office, surgical eye clinic and any other small or large sterilization room. More and more often ENSURE incubator is also used by owners of beauty salons.

ENSURE Incubator is used to incubate biological ampoule tests (available in our offer). They are much more accurate and faster in diagnosis than Sporal-A tests. Each user of the autoclave can perform such tests in his own medical facility, as many times as necessary, receiving reliable results after 24 hours, and a signal indicating problems after 4-6 hours. It has nothing to do with 72 hours needed for incubation of Sporal A tests performed by SANEPID.

The Ensure incubator allows up to 5 tests from different cycles or different autoclaves to be monitored simultaneously and provides an easy-to-read result which indicates whether sterilization has been achieved... or not.

It has 10 slots, and a built-in crusher (for activating ampoule tests) and LCD display with timer allowing you to control 5 different tests simultaneously.

The incubator allows you to work at 57oC.
