STERIM Integrator 5, Class 5, is a standard colorimetric indicator and is for daily use in all steam sterilization processes (gravity, vacuum and flash cycles) in the temperature range 121°C - 134°C. The indicator is designed to integrate the three critical parameters of the sterilization process: time, temperature and steam saturation.
Advantages of STERIM® Integrator 5 chemical tests:
- control of critical parameters of steam sterilization: time, temperature and steam saturation,
- defined performance comparable to biological indicators,
- self-adhesive, making it easy to place the strip in the documentation of sterilization processes,
- test covered with a protective laminate,
- spot placement of the indicator substance,
- size of the test strip: 20 x 100 mm.
Method of use and reading the results: STERIM Integrator 5 test should be placed inside the pack intended for sterilization. After completing the sterilization process, remove the indicator and check the color change. A correct sterilization process is confirmed by a change of color of the indicator from pink to black.
