Enbio Magic Filter is a filter that allows you to reuse waste water (condensate) after the sterilization process. Thanks to this, the autoclave is powered in a closed circuit system. Water for sterilization is taken from the external tank. Flowing through the MAGIC FILTER, it is purified in the ion-exchange bed. It is used for sterilization and then returns to the external tank. The process repeats itself again after starting another cycle

The ion-exchange resin contained in the Enbio Magic Filter enables purification of waste water to the level of deionised water conforming to the requirements of PN-EN 13060 (Annex C) - i.e. such water as is recommended and permitted for use in drinking water plants, This is recommended and approved for use with Enbio autoclaves. Its construction is maximally simplified and enables connecting it to all Enbio devices, both the newest ones and those produced in the past.

MAGIC FILTER can purify water capacity equal to 80 5-liter tanks. At the price of about 6,50 per 5 liters of demineralized water we get savings of 520 PLN. Economic calculation and definitely less manual workload speaks for MAGIC FILTER.

How to use.

Enbio Magic Filter is filled with ion-exchange resin, which, as it wears, changes its color from dark blue to amber. As long as the blue color is visible, the resin still has water purification properties, i.e. provides water hardness <0,02 mmol/l and conductivity <15 μS/cm. In order to ensure correct parameters of water supplying the device, it is recommended to check the water tank at least quarterly. If contamination is found, the tank should be emptied, cleaned and flooded with new demineralized water.

Filter replacement.

The filter should be replaced with a new one once every 6 months or sooner when the resin has completely discolored to an amber color. Failure to do so may interfere with the sterilization process and will void the sterilizer warranty. We suggest setting a reminder in your smartphone regarding checking the condition of the filter e.g. once a month.
